- The integrated digital speech processor distinguishes the HURRICANE DUO from the other pagers in the Swissphone range. It converts the incoming alphanumeric messages into a voice message and simultaneously shows the messages on a display. This way, the user is informed immediately, clearly and understandably about the content of the alert message, even if they are driving or not wearing the pager on their body. The HURRICANE DUO has 64 RICs, each with 4 sub-addresses. Freely programmable fixed texts can be assigned to each of these addresses. Received messages are stored with date and time. Further information such as the operational readiness is shown on the display. Status display, vibration alarm, message memory, time and date display as well as battery level display are among the other features of this receiver.
